Ms.Brittany

Brittany began dancing at the age of three at Dance Connections, in St. Louis, Missouri. There she was trained in Ballet, Tap, and Jazz. When Brittany was 10 years old she moved to Keller, Texas where she found her new dance home at Act One Dance Studio under the owner ship of Janet Schenk.

At age 11, Brittany joined Act One's competitive dance team to further her dance career. While on the competition team she became well versed in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Clogging, Hip hop Contemporary and Lyrical. It was this training that allowed her to become an award-winning dancer and obtain several scholarships along the way.

After graduating from Central High School, she toured with Talent on Parade's award winning choreographers to further her knowledge of dance. Now she he specializes in Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz, and Hip Hop. Brittany has been successful in choreographing highly recognizable pieces that uniquely encompasses Act One's character and quality. During her time under Janet Schenk, she choreographed for the competition team for five years and conducted a variety of dance classes.

In 2016, Brittany became the owner of Act One Dance Studio in hopes to carry out the 27-year legacy. She does so by running Act One's award winning competition team, as well as running the studio's recreational aspect. She is proud of the positive atmosphere that is Act One and will see that it continues to be a safe and encouraging space for her students to explore the art of dance.
